Study skills report week 3

Study Skills Report

Which skill did you use and how many times have you used it, including this lesson? (no more than 3 times without permission)

(Study Skill: Substitutions, Setting, Principles and Doctrine, List, Clustering, Flag Phrases, Symbolism, Visualize, and Cause and Effect)
Skill: List
# of Times (1-3): 3
Show some examples of how you used the skill:
(example: I, Candace, having been born of goodly parents)
    1. Luke 9:1-11 – The twelve disciples were called, sent, preached, and healed the sick. Then in verses 10 and 11 the disciples returned, reported, and taken aside privately by Jesus into the desert.

    1. John 6: 5-14 – Jesus looked and saw a huge crowd, he asked Philip where they could buy bread to feed the big crowd, Philip said they couldn’t feed the multitude with 200 pennyworth, Andrew said they have 5 loaves of barley and 2 small fishes, Jesus blessed the food and had his disciples pass it out, and there was enough to feed all.

    1. Mark 8: 22-25 – they brought a blind man to Jesus, He took the blind man by the hand, led him out of town, spit on his eyes, put His hands upon the blind man, asked the man if he could see, the man said he could see trees and men walking but not clearly, Jesus put His hands on the blind man’s eyes, made him look up, and he was restored and could see every man clearly

What did you learn from using this Study Skill? (“Learning” implies something you didn’t know before)
I learned that I needed to ponder what I was reading in order to see the list within the reading.  I learned that I needed to read several verses before I could identify the list.

Why did you choose this skill for this lesson?
I chose this skill because I thought it was going to be easy.  It was not as easy as I thought it would be and I struggled a little to identify a list within the readings.
