Putting it all together – week 3

This week I was reading in the New Testament the Book of John and I have been thinking about how Jesus was a very humble servant.  I decided to look at my own life and try to be a humbler person. I have some troubles with it but I know that if I strive to live more like Christ and pray I can live humbler.  I have many opportunities throughout my workday to be humble.  I work in an office surrounded but a lot of people who come from different backgrounds.  It is not always easy to “get along” with everyone.  I have decided to see the good in everyone and give everyone a chance.  I have been doing this for a few weeks and I have noticed that everyone at work seems to be nicer to me and even at times confide in me.  I love John chapter seven. Christ is a great example of this as he goes through Galilee teaching and preaching to the people all the while knowing in a few months the Jews were going to crucify him.  That is hard for anyone to be humbled and not revengeful.  I looked up to Christ and His examples and I hope to follow in his footsteps and lose the animosity I have towards people who are mean to me.
